Knitting in a Straight LIne

I've been knitting. I'm not an advanced knitter by any stretch of the imagination, but I can knit in a straight line! And....I can crochet too, but only in a circle! Well, truth be told, I can crochet in a straight line too, but the rows keep getting bigger and bigger...I do much better going in a circle. I recently went yarn shopping. The yarns available now are so fun and interesting. I ended up buying this yarn called "Trellis", which is a little like a ladder with 2 black thin strings that run parallel to each other and there are little colorful "rungs" every so often. The one I got has peacock blue and regular blue rungs, and a sagey green and almost gold rungs. It's so pretty. I knit up a sash/belt/scarf with it and added a long fringe to each end. Really cute!!! I had my daughter model it for the pictures and she just loves it...she is asking me to make another one for her. Her best friend was here for the model shoot too (lol) and now she wants one too! I put it up for sale on Etsy. Pop in a take a look.
